About EnR

Enr, the leading renewable energy exhibition since 2001, presents the very latest innovations in renewable energy.

BECAUSE DIFFERENT SECTORS HAVE DIFFERENT NEEDS - BECAUSE ALL VISITORS ARE DIFFERENT - BECAUSE THE TWO ARE ESSENTIAL

Decentralized energy production - Renewable electricity or heat

Considerable investments are being launched :

The mix of different energy sources in developed countries is changing.

Growing economies are already looking ahead to a renewable energy future.

Large-scale renewable energy sources have proven their efficiency and the contribution they can make to industry in these countries.

Ambitious projects are becoming reality.

The results of the tendering process for the French Off Shore Wind contracts will be revealed at the start of April 2012.

“Heat fund”, calls for tenders for offshore wind farms, international solarenergy projects. A redesigned energy landscape : Even if nuclear energy is not in question, RE offers efficiency, profitability, sustainability and potential for development. European targets for 2020 require the development of RE on a large scale.

Focus on Wind Power :

Following the call for tenders for off-shore wind generators, the industrial sector is becoming structured. Turbine manufacturers and sub-contractors are networking and organizing their plans of action. A first tranche of 3GW should be generated by 2015. 3 further GW are planned to achieve the 2020 targets.

The following will be set up in the exhibition :

• A dedicated wind energy area. Access limited to specialists in the field.
• A high-level RE conference will bring together industrialists, investors, buyers and local authorities for fruitful exchanges and promising prospects.

RE and Buildings

RT 2012, Low Energy Building, BEPOS: the building trade is being revolutionized, opening up to RE in a big way. The potential in new construction and renovation is huge. All forms of technology are concerned. For incorporation in new buildings: France is in first position.

EnR presents a complete line-up including:

• Specifiers: architects and technical design offices
• Buyers: promoters, local authorities, social landlords
• Specialists: specialist fi tters, HVAC engineering, electrical engineering
• General builders: contractors, main fabric builders, private home builders
• Distributors : importers, wholesalers, DIY superstores

Discovering developing technologies, forecasting the energy future.

3 sectors :
  • Marine energy
  • Fuel cell
  • Energy storage

The PV congress

*Please note that these conference will be given in french only.

In the context of our exhibition the Renewable Energy Syndicate is organising a congress dedicated to the photovoltaic market on the Thursday 5 April.

This will be an opportunity to take stock of the current state of a market on which recent decisions have taken a heavy toll, but which still offers encouraging medium term prospects.

A day where industry professionals, investors and owners will debate the solutions for strengthening the PV industry in France.

4 round tables
